De her tre omhandlede danse (pole dans, floor dans og chair dans) kan fodmæssigt alle udføres i bare fødder, glidesikre sokker, ballerinaer og opefter. Når "Exotic" sættes foran ændrer det sig. I stort set alle præsentationer af de tre danse udføres de da i Heels. Heels har sit udspring det antikke Grækenland. De brugtes også op gennem middelalderen. De første moderne heels (Rainbow sandals) blev designet i 1938.

Heels kaldes idag også ofte Stripper Heels. Antagelig fordi de først i større omfang er brugt der, og siden er "sevet" ud til andre danseformer.
